be my date...

yes...its february...but no...this entry is not about valentine's, as i dont celebrate valentine's day...this entry is dedicated to a special night in february...

about 7 years ago, first year at uni....around 9pm,
teet...teet.. a text msg from riz.. "jom minum,aku kat cafe ngan member...kau datanglaa bawak member sorang"

i actually have been avoiding riz.. hmmm...but this time i was in a hall right next to the cafe with zah when i receive the sms...maybe ill juzz go this time...plus i won't be alone with him...theres gonna be four of us...minum je...n the cafe is juzz bout 10 steps away...so...y not! i dragged zah along with me to the cafe...and as soon as i enter the cafe, i saw riz sitting with a cute looking guy...ehehe..tak sia-sia aku datang...

so riz introduce me to his friend, salle n i introduce zah to them...n we sit n chat n drink n more of riz's friends joined us,then another friend of mine joined us,tables are combined,chairs are pulled...ppl are getting to know each other,talking, and laughing... then i realized that the whole group had split into two! i was having a conversation with salle at one end of the table while the rest are having a group conversation..tetibe

"kau nak ikut aku gi dinner rugby tak?" (ohyea...salle was in the uni rugby team)
ahaha...biar betul mamat ni... baru jumpe tak sampai sejam dah nak ajak dinner??
"kalau aku pegi tak bawak date,nanti kene perform laa mase dinner tu.."

oh..desperate sbb tak nak perform rupenye...baru aku nak terperasan yang aku ni cun sangat..

so aku menjawab selamba.. "haha...kau takkan tak kenal perempuan lain kat sini...cari orang lainlaa.."

"coursemate aku ade 2orang je perempuan-chinese, dua-dua aku dah tanye tapi diorang takbole.."

hampeh...aku pilihan ketiga...

so aku menjual mahal "2minggu lagi dinner tu,trylaa cari orang lain dulu..."

malam tu habis di situ sahaja...i did not say yes...yet...heheh

afew days later he called...n we chatted... i enjoyed talking to him and he seemed honest about the invitation....he said the dinner will be held in the uni's hall instead at a hotel...so tak risaulaa if he wanna kidnap me or anythin! heheh...hey...i havent turn 18 at d time n i hardly knew this guy! so yeahh...i said yes...i agreed to be his date...with no other intentions ok! eheh..ok...maybe juzz a little tiny bit of intention to get to know this guy more!

so the date went ok...we had a great time...we hit it off well...so comfy talking to him as he was not flirtatious at all! we took some photos n he gave me a pretty candle holder as a thank you gift...

i wasn't looking for love...

but thats how i met my husband...
